WISE-C (WASH Innovation for Sustainable Earth Challenge) is a prestigious national-level competition created to ignite the spirit of innovation among school students from Classes 8 to 12.

It encourages young minds to identify real-world challenges in Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) and develop creative, science- and technology-based solutions. From improving water conservation methods to building low-cost hygiene tools, WISE-C offers students a unique platform to transform their ideas into impactful community solutions, while competing through exciting state, regional, and national-level rounds. Finalists will receive expert mentorship, technical guidance, and opportunities to showcase their innovations at national and international platforms.
The program is powered by the WISE Alliance (WASH Innovation for Sustainable Earth Alliance)—a vibrant network of academic institutions, research organisations, startups, corporates, NGOs, and professionals dedicated to nurturing the next generation of problem-solvers. With a shared vision of environmental stewardship and youth empowerment, the Alliance provides resources, mentorship, and outreach support to ensure inclusive participation from rural and urban schools across India. Through WISE-C, the Alliance envisions every student not just as a participant, but as a water innovation champion shaping a sustainable future.
